The use of technology is not the silver bullet to success, but it does provide a springboard to leap from. This is creativity.

Limoncello is a collaboration between NYC producer/guitarist Rich Bennett and Paris-based Italian-Argentine singer/songwriter Mari Rosa. They started sharing and collaborating music across the Atlantic in 2017. Not much is known about these musicians; however, their fondness for Latin disco and boogie is imprinted over this two-track digital release.

A melodic downbeat tune hugs the vocals in Musica Aqui (Music Here) and is not too different from the FAR-Out Monster Disco Orchestra. The track mimics a retro funk groove with orchestral horns. Con Tu Amor (With your love) is not quite Studio 54 material but features some disco keyboard noodling. The outro is energetic and the percussions punchy.

Rich and Paris sound as they enjoyed making the tracks, so the is question is, what is next for this transatlantic partnership?
